Monica and Shannon Brown tie the knot for the second time
July 12th, 2011 - 10:12 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, July 12 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Singer Monica and Los Angeles Lakers star Shannon Brown have tied the knot for the second time. The two first got married in November and they repeated the event last Saturday at a ceremony which was grander than the first one. Monica who wore a wedding dress designed by Stephen Roland exchanged her marriage vows again with Shannon in front of several guests.
Some stars including teammates of Shannon were invited for the event which was also attended by the children of the two. PEOPLE magazine reported that hundreds of guests including family and friends attended the ceremony which took place at the renovated historic Vibiana Cathedral in Los Angeles. The guest list included teammate Kobe Bryant, Derek Fisher, Lala Vazquez and Anthony Carmelo.
After the ceremony a three course dinner were served to the guests during the reception.
Monica and Shannon met last summer and they got engaged in October. The two shocked everyone shortly afterwards when they announced that they have tied the knot in a low-key ceremony. Monica is a mother to two children – 6-year-old Rodney Jr. and 3-year-old Romelo. She had the children with her former fiancé Rodney Hill. Shannon is also a father to a son which he had from his previous relationship.
