Mohanlal’s Casanova to start rolling soon

April 30, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The Mohanlal starrer film, Casanova, is set to start shooting from May 24 in Goa. It will shoot for 85 days in locations like Goa, Dubai, Kochi, Bangkok, and Cape Town. The main location will be Cape Town. Mohanlal’s role in the film is that of a Casanova, who is also an International Orchid flower merchant settled in Bangalore. His business is mainly concentrated in Cape Town.
The film was supposed to start shooting in Dubai last year but it was postponed when the producer of the film, Vaisakh Rajan decided to drop the project. The film also had issues when the proposed budget turned out to be more than it should. Directed by Roshan Andrews, it is being produced by Confident Group along with Impresario Pictures and distributed by Vyshakh Films. The film is set to have an international release along with India, UK, US and Italy. In India, the film will have a simultaneous release in Kerala, Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai and Ahmedabad.
The remaining cast of the film, apart from Mohanlal, includes Ganesh, Lakshmi Rai, Sameera Reddy, Sanjjana, Honey Rose, Mithra Kurian and others.
