Solange Magnano Buenos Aires, Dec 1 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Model Solange Magnano, who is a former Miss Argentina, died of a pulmonary embolism after undergoing cosmetic surgery in Buenos Aires.

The charming beauty queen Solange was having a surgical procedure which was intended to improve the shape of her buttocks “has its risks, because it is not a procedure that is scientifically guaranteed,” warned the president of the Plastic, Cosmetic and Reparatory Surgery Society of Argentina, Juan Carlos Seiler, in the daily Clarin. However the following day she suffered from complications in the form of acute respiratory infection, and was rushed to the hospital. Then for 3 days she was in a critical state and then she started suffering from a pulmonary embolism, when a foreign body, usually a blood clot, blocks the supply of blood to the lungs. And ultimately she died from this complication.

“She only underwent the procedure because she thought it was no big deal,” said Guillermo Azar, another close friend of Magnano’s. Juan Carlos Seiler, former president of the Buenos Aires Association of plastic surgeons, suggested the doctor who performed the procedure might not have been “a real professional from an approved” cosmetic surgery centre.

A husband and 8-year-old twin boys survive her. She was currently was working for designer Roberto Piazza and she was also managing a modeling school that she had opened two years ago in San Francisco, Cordoba.
