May 1, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Ashley Graham, the plus size model who hogged the limelight recently with a rather controversial lingerie advertisement, joined television host Jay Leno in “The Tonight Show” in an episode that was aired last night. With the extensive amount of interest that the Lane Bryant lingerie advertisement featuring her has managed to generate on the internet, it hardly came as a bolt from the blue when Friday night’s episode of the popular chat show received wide viewership.

During the latest episode of the “The Tonight Show”, the model first makes an appearance during the opening segment of the television program. When Ashley Graham finally appears on stage, she talks at length about the controversial lingerie advertisement. The advertisement is then shown so that all the viewers can judge for themselves while host Jay Leno also showcases his support to the Lane Bryant lingerie ad. “The Tonight Show” presenter then also makes a comparison of the advertisement with the Victoria’s Secret ad, which is also known to feature some scantily dressed models and asks the viewers that how the Lane Bryant lingerie ad is in any way different from other commercial.

The lingerie advertisement featuring Ashley Graham had initially grabbed attention when the Fox and the ABC network had refused to air it saying that the ad was too racy for the viewers. The commercial was then posted on the internet by the company and it became a rage among the netizens. Subsequently, both Fox and ABC agreed to air the advertisement during their respective reality shows, “American Idol” and “Dancing With The Stars”.
