Melbourne, October 13 (ANI): Veteran musician Paul Anka has claimed that Michael Jackson’s new song could have been lifted from a track he wrote in 1990.
The 60s music legend said he co-wrote the song ‘I Never Heard’ with the late King of Pop, in 1983 and later recorded a demo.
According to TMZ, Anka said the singer “got a big head and stole the tapes from the studio”, reports News.com.au.
The 68-year-old was said to have brought in his legal team to get back the tapes at the time.
Anka thinks Jackson may have kept a copy and re-recorded the song before renaming it as ‘This Is It’. (ANI)
