Washington, Oct 17 (ANI): The name of late King of Pop Michael Jackson is once again on display at Gardner Street Elementary School after a group of fans had petitioned to get the sign uncovered.
The boards covering his name were removed when the child molestation charges were raised against Jackson.
However, the sign was uncovered after a group of MJ fans started a campaign.
A member of the Los Angeles Board of Education highlighted the artistic and humanitarian impacts of MJ at the unveiling.
“It’s important for the district to value the artistic impact and humanitarian contribution that will be the lasting legacy of Michael Jackson,” TMZ.com quoted the member as saying. (ANI)
