MJ’s ‘final hours recreated’

Michael Jackson London, July 29 (ANI): A British newspaper has attempted to recreate the finals hours of Michael Jackson’s life.

Jackson was said to have returned from a day of rehearsals for his comeback tour that was due to begin this month.

But the King of Pop, who reportedly suffered insomnia, was allegedly unable to sleep and summoned his personal doctor Conrad Murray, reports The Mirror.

The singer reportedly requested to be placed on a drip of his favourite drug, powerful anaesthetic Propofol, which is only supposed to be administered in hospitals due to its risk of depressing breathing and bringing down heart rates and blood pressure.

The Thriller hitmaker was claimed to have relied on the drug like an alarm clock for two years, deciding what time he wanted to awaken and at the appointed hour a doctor would stop the intravenous drip that delivered the drug.

Murray purportedly gave the superstar Propofol shortly after midnight. Jackson died on June 25 from an apparent cardiac arrest.

Los Angeles Police Department probing the star’s death are believed to be working on the theory that the drug may have caused the pop singer’s heart to stop.

It is suspected that Murray fell asleep after putting Jackson on the drip and spotted the dead body later.

Medics think Jackson was already dead, but Murray attempted CPR anyway, first on the bed, instead on the floor, where it is more effective.

Murray allegedly took 30 minutes before screaming for one of the chef’s to call an ambulance.

Paramedics were rushed to the scene, where Jackson was found lying on the floor of his bedroom. They apparently realised in an instant that the musician was dead.

Jackson was later stretchered into an ambulance with an oxygen mask on and rushed to hospital, where a doctor formally pronounced him dead in less than an hour. (ANI)
