London, July 24 (ANI): It has emerged that the father of late King of Pop Michael Jackson’s doctor Conrad Murray had been disciplined for over-subscribing addictive drugs.
Dr. Rawle Andrews, Murray’s late biological dad, had been found to have prescribed controlled substances with “addictive potential” to two patients.
The Texas Medical Board found that that went on for extended periods in the 1990s “without adequate indication”.
Included among the four pain-relieving drugs was Stadol, which is similar to Demerol, a powerful drug prescribed to Jackson.
Murray, 56, accused of administering drugs to the singer before his death, was 25 when he first met his dad.
According to reports, Dr. Murray knew of the disciplinary action against him. (ANI)
