London, Sept 11 (ANI): Michael Jackson’s father Joe Jackson has lashed out at proprietors of his son’s Neverland Ranch for applying for a trademark for the property without seeking the family’s approval.
The Sycamore Valley Ranch Company, founded by the King of Pop and private equity firm Colony Capital, has filed in papers to get four names patented for a public museum planned at the Ranch.
However, Jackson senior is unhappy about the company’s moves.
He insists that company bosses should have taken the family into confidence before proceeding with their patenting plans.
Joe even hints the family may look towards a legal option.
The Daily Express quoted him as telling TMZ.com: “Colony Capital cannot do this without our permission.” (ANI)
