MJ’s dad blames wife for son’s death

London, June 13 (ANI): Joe Jackson has revealed that his son Michael Jackson died just hours after he had a bitter conversation with his wife.
Joe revealed the startling fact in an interview twelve days before the King of Pop’s first death anniversary.
He blamed Michael’s mother Katherine for failing to save him from the prescription drugs that killed him.
The accusation by Joe came out when the couple were face to face as Michael lay on a mortuary table, reports News Of The World.
“Katherine was weeping uncontrollably and highly upset. But I didn’t give her a hug because I was mad at her crying,” Joe said.
He also said that he had spent months encouraging Michael to get into rehab for his prescription drug addiction.
“I said, ‘If you had listened to me Michael would be living now!’ I kept thinking about the times I had stood in front of her saying something was wrong,” Joe said.
“I couldn’t bottle up my feelings. Katherine didn’t say a word - I had to get away from her. If she’d done what I asked, Michael would be here today. I am incensed with her. She could have made a difference.
“In Michael’s final months alive I said to her many times that I couldn’t get through to him - and that she needed to help her son,” Joe further said. (ANI)
