MJ was in denial about drug addiction, says sis Janet
November 19th, 2009 - 12:09 pm ICT by ANIWashington, November 19 (ANI): Janet Jackson has revealed that she often felt her brother Michael was in denial about his drug addiction.
The 43-year-old singer said she tried to help the late star with the problem but was turned away.
“You can’t make ‘em drink the water,” Fox News quoted her as telling ABC News in an interview.
When quizzed if the King of Pop was in denial, she replied, “Possibly.”
She said: “I wish he could answer this question for you and not me. I felt that he was in denial.”
Janet blamed her brother’s death on his personal physician Dr. Conrad Murray, who administered a powerful anesthetic to the Thriller hitmaker shortly before he died on June 25 this year. (ANI)
