Michael Jackson London, August 12 (ANI): Merchandising deals involving official Michael Jackson commemorative goods have been stalled after the singer’s mother raised a series of objections in front of a Los Angeles judge.

Lawyer John Branca and music executive John McClain, the administrators of the late star’s estate, had reached a deal with concert promoters AEG Live and souvenir company Bravado International to launch several Jackson-themed products.

The deals were presented to Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff for approval but the official chose to postpone ruling after Katherine Jackson’s lawyers stated a number of concerns about the plans, reports the Daily Express.

Katherine’s lawyer Burt Levitch alleged the Jacksons were “not sure (AEG) would have been the first choice”.

Another hearing over the merchandising deal is yet to be finalised. (ANI)
