London, July 30 (ANI): Investigators probing the death of Michael Jackson reportedly suspect a host of dodgy medics supplied the star with prescription drugs that are believed to have cost him his life.
Jackson’s personal physician Dr Conrad Murray was previously said to be a key suspect in the manslaughter investigation.
But cops were reportedly examining the role of more than 20 doctors who may have penned fraudulent prescriptions while treating the superstar, reports The Daily Express.
Detectives along with drug enforcement agents were purportedly planning to seize medical files and interview medics who had contact with the singer, according to a source close to the investigation.
Cops said the Thriller hitmaker relied on up to two dozen aliases to satiate his addiction for prescription drugs. (ANI)
