Melbourne, August 2 (ANI): The King of Pop Michael Jackson has died but he has left behind huge amount of unpaid debts to his different business associates.
An investigation into his financial credibility has revealed that the late singer is named in about 1000 court actions from lawyers, accountants and associates.
The pop legend apparently had a revolving door of advisers and he sacked some of them without paying them.
One of his most recent advisers, Dr Tohme Tohme, alleges that he was never paid for his job.
“I never got a cent from Michael. I was putting my money in,’ the Daily Telegraph quoted him as saying.
Jackson had reportedly fired adviser Dieter Wiesner, after he was indicted on child molestation charges without paying him.
Moreover, there are claims that he ripped off a Fox Television film producer who planned documentary, which could have restored his reputation after his acquittal.
A businessman said: “He was a deadbeat. A financial and legal deadbeat.’
Also his children’s nanny, Grace Rwaramba claims in court documents that she suggested a Jackson associate to send her the money instead of Jackson, as she knew “he would squander the money shopping instead of paying his immediate obligations”.
Even his spending patterns, declared during his divorce from Debbie Rowe in 1999, revealed his lavish lifestyle, as he spent 2.3 million dollars every month while he earned 707,000 dollars only.
Finally, at the end of his life executors say that he had 200 million dollars in the black. However, his estate is now speculated at 500 million dollars. (ANI)
