Aug 25, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Fourth runner-up in the Miss Universe Pageant, Miss Philippines 2010 Maria Venus Raj became the talk of town after her dull answer in the final round. She was asked by pageant judge Billy Baldwin that which was the biggest mistake of her life and what has she done to make up for it. The answer from the leggy beauty might not have shocked the audience but experts will know that it failed to have any impression on the judges. Some have even gone on to say that the answer might have even cost her the crown, considering that she was one of the favorites to win the title. She answered that she has done no mistakes that can be called ‘major, major’.

Considering that it was the final round of the world’s most prestigious beauty pageant, the vague answer from Miss Philippines 2010 Maria Venus Raj might have been the result of the 22 year old’s nervousness. In the previous rounds, however, she appeared confident and charismatic and most of the bets were on her.

Before answering the question from Billy Baldwin, Maria Venus Raj addressed the audience and then thanked the judge for the question that she called ‘wonderful’. She then went on to say that she cannot call any of the mistakes ‘major, major’ because of the confidence that she had due to the love from her family. The answer seemed to overlook the purpose of the question and ended with Maria Venus Raj thanking everyone for being on stage at the Miss Universe 2010 pageant. The Miss Universe 2010 crown finally went to Miss Mexico 2010 Jimena Navarrete.
