If you think that ‘little boots’ is a ‘what’, then this article is for you. Because when I heard of little boots for the first time I also thought what it was. But a little research revealed that little boots is not ‘what ‘ but actually ‘who’.

So who is little boots? Well, little boots is actually Victoria Hesketh and who is she? She is the new up-and-coming pop and dance would be princess all the way from Britain. Very much like Britney Spears when she was 17, but little boots is not 17, in fact she is 25.

Though she has released only a couple of numbers so far, including the 7 minute “Stuck on Repeat”, she has the potential to be the next big thing in pop when her album releases later in the year. As far as the present is concerned she is ‘up’ but how far she will come, time will tell.

Victoria Hesketh was born in Thornton-Cleveleys, Lancashire in 1984. At the age of 16 she participated in ‘Pop Idol’ a television talent show and was eliminated after three rounds. Maybe, if she had gone on to win the talent show, she would not have got to where she is now.

Later she went on to form Jazz trio and toured Europe and after the tour she formed the ‘Dead-Disco’ a dance-pop band. And in December last year she was on her way to complete her first album with the producer Greg Kurstin. She has come a long way from, Victoria Hesketh to Little Boots and I hope that the Little Boots will shine some more in the near future.
