Las Vegas, Jan 30, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The 89th Miss America winner will be revealed tonight from Las Vegas. Theater For The Performing Arts In Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino has been selected as the Miss America 2010 venue and will be graced by some of the high profile celebrities of the glamor world. Miss America 2010 is one of the most sizzling events of the year and people are searching the internet to get some insight of the event.

Becoming the Miss America pageant is the dream of every young lady, who come to this contest from the fifty states of America. It has been reported that the semifinalists of the contest, who will compete for the prestigious crown would have to feature in swimsuits and evening gowns. As per the reports, apart from these rounds, they would have to prove themselves in the talent round and in the final interview session. The contestant who would be the best in these rounds would be crowned by Katie Stam, Miss America 2009. Abiding by the format of the show, the four runners-up will be declared first followed by the name of the winner.

Like previous years, this year too, the judges panel forms one of the major highlights of this gala event. Rush Limbaugh, who is known to be a strong critic of feminism will be a part of the judges panel, who have the responsibility to crown the best talent of the country. According to the reports, the judges would make their evaluation from the preliminary round of the show till the finals. The judgment would be based on the beauty and talent of the contestants.
