The proposal in the old-school manner surprised many including Miranda Lambert herself. Reportedly, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton are sharing a pair of diamond on gold and platinum rings.
Blake Shelton decided to pop the question in style by first getting Lambert Dad’s blessings. The country singer, who topped the billboards alongside fiance Miranda Lambert, is known as the ‘hillbilly’ singer for his rough attitude. He was previously married to Kaynette Williams for three years and was divorced in 2006. Miranda Leigh Lambert is a country music artist who became famous after her appearance in Nashville Star. The duo met for the first time at ‘The Hundred Greatest Duets’ Concert in 2006. Miranda Lambert belongs to Lindale, Texas. Both Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton enjoy physical activities like hunting, fishing, trekking, etc. Both the country singers are also supposedly true nature lovers.
The choice of the ring impressed Miranda Lambert and she said that it is more perfect than the one she would have chosen herself. Though no dates for the wedding have been revealed, Miranda Lambert has made her excitement evident to the media post her engagement on the 9th of May 2010. The engagement ceremony took place in Tishomingu, Oklahama with close friends and family.
