Las Vegas, Apr 19, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Things were really looking bright for country music singer Miranda Lambert at the Academy of Country Music Awards which were held last night in Las Vegas. The much acclaimed musical artist was bestowed with multiple honors at the much awaited award ceremony which came as pleasant surprise for her large number of fans.

The 26 year old musical artist earned one of the much coveted awards of the night when her album “Revolution” was declared the winner of the Album of the Year category. Although this was not the first time that Miranda Lambert has won the honor, she was indeed delighted after grabbing the award. After taking home the award for the Album of the Year, the popular musical artist exclaimed that music was what is lived for while expressing her gratitude for giving her the recognition. However, this was not the only honor conferred on her, as she was also declared the Female Vocalist of the Year. Moreover, just prior to the main award ceremony, in a rather surprise announcement, her music video for the track ‘White Liar’ was declared to be the Video of the Year.

While talking to the media later regarding her victory in the Female Vocalist of the year category, Miranda Lambert added that she was completely shocked to have been able to win the honor. The 45nd annual Academy of Country Music Awards turned out to be a ceremony dominated by the leading female singers as apart from Miranda Lambert, Lady Antebellum as well as Carrie Underwood were the other musical artists who were successful in registering multiple awards.
