Miranda Lambert Shines At Country Music Awards

Nov 11, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It was the night of grandeur, felicity and fanfare as the country music stars walked the red carpet with glory in 44th Country Music Awards 2010. “Nashville Star” fame Miranda Lambert, who was nominated on nine categories and last evening she won three awards for her contribution in the country music industry. She paid tribute to country music icon Loretta Lynn in her performance “That’s The Way The World Goes ‘Round”.
Miranda Lambert won the award for Best Female Vocalist, the Best Music Video for “The House That Built Me” and the Best Music Album “Revolution”. Miranda Lambert became emotional while receiving the award and she said that her album “Revolution” has brought in revolution in her life. The media outlets are of the opinion that probably this was the best birthday gift she could have ever received in her 27th birthday. Her fiance Blake Shelton accompanied her to stage while she was receiving her award and the couple hugged each other at the moment of glory. The singer looked stunning in her gown designed by Sherri Hill with her fiance Blake Shelton.
The “Bring Me Down” singer said in her interview that her aim is to make the country music history and she feels that something everybody hopes when they are in the industry. She said that she had the most nominations out of any female ever. The singer said that she is having a “great” day at the award function. Miranda Lambert said that it was her 27th birthday and she hopes that in it going to be her best birthday as she hopes to receive some of the CMA Awards. The media outlets reported that her platinum album “Revolution” received most nominations for a woman in the 44 year history of Country Music Awards.
