Minogue nominated for ARIA awards

London, Sep 29 (IANS) Singer Kylie Minogue is on a career high as she has bagged two nominations at this year’s ARIA (Australian Record Industry Association) Awards.
The 42-year-old has been nominated for best female artist category and best pop release for her latest album “Aphrodite”, reports contactmusic.com.
Aussie rockers “The Temper Trap” have bagged five nominations, including Best group and most popular Australian album for conditions, while “Powderfinger” competes in four categories.
The ceremony will take place at the Sydney Opera House, Nov 7.
