London, April 15 (IANS) Australian singer Kylie Minogue is trying to get over the disappointment of not being able to break into the US music scene and has bought a three million pound country retreat. The singer released her album “X in America” April 1 and after two weeks it’s evident that it didn’t fetch her right response. Thesun.co.uk reports that she is looking into a riverside Tudor home in Sussex. She returned to her country mansion after getting back from the US. The house is opulent and has a chapel. Minogue is keen to settle down as her 40th birthday approaches.
In November last year, she had said: “I’m looking for a property in the country. I need to do things to make me feel whole.”
