miley1 Nov. 21, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Miley Cyrus’ tour bus that was traveling through central Virginia’s I-85 southbound lanes met with an accident, which claimed the life of the driver, William G. Douglas [age 53 years], reported sources. A 48 year old Canadian man, Marty Zilio was also reported to have received severe injuries in the accident. Though it was the tour bus of Cyrus, it was meant for the lighting crews and so the celebrity was not traveling in it.

Some sources reported that the bus crashed after the driver, who was from Austin [Texas] lost its control and shifted from the tracks. However, the severity of the injuries or the cause of the accident has not yet been confirmed by any official sources. People who were in the bus, crawled out from the space left by the shattered ‘front wind shield’.

It has been reported by the sources that the ‘Hannah Montana’ star was perfectly all right and she would appear in the concerts on the scheduled time. The news of the crash and driver’s death has caused sufficient grief to the Cyrus family as they consider every tour member to be a part of their extended family. Investigations have started to find whether he died after the accident or died for some health problems.

According to sources, members of the production team, who were present in the bus were transported to Petersburg’s Southside Regional Medical Center for medical attention. Though the tour bus met with an accident, the scheduled tour dates of the singer would not change. Fans would be able to catch her in Greensboro on Sunday.
