Oct.29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) This might be coming as a bit of shock for both Miley Cyrus as well as her teeming millions of fans. The tween sensation has been voted as the “Worst Celebrity Influence” for the year. More surprising is the fact that the people to have voted her for such, is none other the ones who are known to have catapulted her to such dizzying heights of stardom.

The 16 year old Miley secured an overwhelming 42% of the votes that had being cast in the specified category in the poll. The entire polling was being done for the website named JSYK.com [or Just So You Know], which is AOL’s website. It is a site that targets the age group of 9 to 15. So, it is made quite evident that the choice concerning Miley has been made by the age group that is supposed to have idolized her over the past years.

Other controversial celebs like pop icon Britney Spears and the renowned rapper Kanye West had been relegated to the second and third position by the “Hannah Montana” star. What makes the matter even more significant is the fact that another of the Disney stars, Selena Gomez, has walked home with the crown of “Best Celebrity Influence”. This bit of news surely does salvage Disney’s lost reputation somewhat but for Miley, all’s not looking so well.

The sole fact that she is put even above the notorious Kanye West in the poll, does a lot of harm to her Tween-Teen idol image. Maybe it time she finally gathered the reins of her life and put all records straight.
