Oct 12, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Miley Cyrus has been in the news ever since she went gaga about her latest music video “Who Owns My Heart”. The seventeen year old singer seems desperate to come out of her “Hanna Montana” image to step into the shoes of a teen bombshell.

With this video, she has invited a lot of criticism from the parents and other viewers who feel that she is acting a bit too sexy for her age, as the video involves Miley Cyrus rolling in the bed without her pants and then making sexually exquisite dance moves with other girls and older men in a skimpy outfit. The image that she has portrayed in this video is completely opposite to the image she has set for herself so far. Some parents feel that this video will depolarize her from her dominant fan base, who are habituated with her ‘teen’ image. The image that she is trying to set right now is something that many other stars have set before and they are much ahead of her in that sense. This would neither give her the kind of popularity she is seeking right now, nor will it help to retain her pre-existing fan following.

However this is not the first time that the teenage star came to the lime light for the wrong reasons. On 2009, Teen Choice Awards, she performed a steamy pole dance. While, later in that year, she released a music video, where she gave a lap dance to a much older man. Where she is meeting criticism from a particular group of audiences a set of her loyal fans believe that now she is evolving as an adult and it is the right time for her to experiment with her image. After all, she cannot keep on entertaining children all through out her life and career.
