Los Angeles, May 3 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Miley Cyrus paid tribute to her role model Kurt Cobain in a video that has been posted on the Internet. The 18-year-old singer has announced previously that she is inspired by Cobain and his band. Cobain was the leader of the Seattle band Nirvana. The band was popular in the later part of the 1980s and the early 1990s.

The video in itself is not having a great time on YouTube. There have been several negative ratings of the video. Incredibly, only 235 people have indicated they like the video while 1,739 people indicated that they dislike the video as at the time that this publication was been made. Miley performed the song “Smells Like Teen Spirit” at a concert held at Quito, Ecuador over the weekend.

Cobain tragically took his own life in 1994 after struggling with drug addiction. He fatally shot himself with a shotgun. Before his death, Cobain was seen as the biggest trend in the early 1990s.

Miley reached a very important milestone in her life when she reached 18 years. The singer recently got back together with his father after estranged relationship. Billy Cyrus subsequently called off his divorce.
