Miley Cyrus Forced Dad Billy Ray to Cancel ‘The View’ Appearance
February 23rd, 2011 - 12:35 am ICT by Angela Kaye MasonFeb 22 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Billy Ray Cyrus seems to be angering people left and right as his family falls apart. He upset his daughter, Miley, when he compared her to Anna Nicole Smith, and then blamed Disney for the issues in his family, saying that the show ‘Hannah Montana’ completely ruined their lives. Now television legend Barbara Walters has joined in the “people angry at Billy Ray” list after he canceled an appearance on the show which Walters is a co host on ‘The View’.
Apparently, when Miley got word that her dad was going to be a guest on the television talk show, she had a fit. A family friend was quoted by ‘Popeater’ as saying, “Only last week, Billy shot his mouth off in GQ, and now he planned to sit down with [Barbara and Whoopi] and talk more crap about his family. No way would Miley or her team let that happen.”
But Billy Ray insists that he is genuinely worried about his daughter, who he feels isolated from. “I’m scared for her. She’s got a lot of people around her that’s putting her in a great deal of danger. I want to get her sheltered from the storm.”
