Miley Cyrus And Taylor Swift To Perform In Nashville Flood Benefit Concert

Nashville, May 11, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift is all set to perform in the upcoming “Nashville Rising: A Benefit Concert for Flood Recovery”. Reportedly, the two singers shall be joined byTim McGraw, Carrie Underwood and Faith Hill who will be hosting the concert that seeks to accumulate funds for Nashville Flood Survivors.
“Hannah Montana” actress Miley Cyrus told the media that the Nashville storms which have taken a heavy toll upon the residents of Tennessee and Nashville has also affected her farm and crops. She said that it has been one of the most scariest experience of her life because there wasn’t anyway to communicate with anyone as the phone lines went down in the storm. On the other hand Taylor Swift has gone ahead to have donated $500,000 to the Nashville Flood Relief organizations. She said that she is deeply hurt at the calamity which her home town has been through and she will do anything to make them feel better. The singer said that nothing stands greater than love amidst crisis which she believes is the noblest thing above all.
The Nashville Benefit Concert will be coordinated by Faith Hill along with Tim McGraw. Besides Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus, the Nashville Flood Benefit Concert shall also witness the performances from fellow artists like Jason Aldean, LeAnn Rimes, Martina McBride, Luke Bryan, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Amy Grant, Brooks & Dunn, Jason Aldean along with Michael W. Smith and Miranda Lambert. The organizers of the concert told the media that “Nashville Rising: A Benefit Concert for Flood Recovery” shall have all funds being donated to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee who are said to be one of the most prominent philanthropic service that exists in the region. The Nashville Flood Benefit concert shall be held at the Nashville Bridgestone Arena on June 22.
