Milan-Randeep’s Chance Encounter

July 21, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Director Milan Luthria has a rather interesting tale about how he first met actor Randeep Hooda. Randeep, who plays one of the lead roles in Milan’s latest offering Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai is an avid horse riding enthusiast. Incidentally, Milan too has immense fervor for the sport.
Naseeruddin Shah, a good friend of Milan, first met Randeep in Delhi. Shortly after Randeep came to Mumbai, Naseer introduced him to Milan. Sharing a common passion for horse riding, the duo hit it off instantly. Milan also introduced Randeep to the Riders Club in Mumbai.
Milan felt that Randeep was the perfect choice and totally fit the bill when it came to his role in Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai. Furthermore, the director cannot stop raving about this talented actor. Cheers to this friendship!
