Oct 12, (THAINDIAN NEWS) British pop singer Mika’s sister, Paloma Pinniman has been critically injured after a fall from a building’s top floor. To add to the tragedy the 28 year old was impaled on the fences that were situated below the building. The tragic accident has left Mika irreconcilable according to the sources close to the star.

Paloma Pinniman had to be rushed to the hospital after the crash but before that the railing had to be cut out by the fire department. Some part of the railing that had penetrated Paloma Pinniman’s legs and abdomen had to be taken along while inside her body. Some initial surgeries have been performed on the artist’s sister according to the reports. The gruesome accident has deeply hurt the singer who has been on vigil beside his sister at the hospital ever since. Mika was also present at the scene of the accident and insiders say that he is extremely traumatized.

Reports suggest that Mika and her sister went out dining the night before the accident took place and the singer was in the same apartment the night of the accident. Some reports suggest that the brother and sister were chatting till the wee hours of the morning before the accident occurred. The rail had pierced through both the legs of the woman and also her abdomen. The hospital authorities confirmed that she was in a critical conditions. More reports are expected to emerge on her condition in the days to come. A spokesperson for Mika told the media that the family would prefer privacy at this difficult time.
