Mick Jagger to perform at Grammy Awards

London, Feb 4 (IANS) Singer Mick Jagger will perform at this year’s Grammy Awards, his first ever performance at the event.Jagger will take the stage at the 53rd Grammy Awards Feb 13 to pay tribute to legendary singer Solomon Burke, who died in October last year, reports contactmusic.com.
“We’re thrilled, delighted, excited and very much looking forward to Mick doing his debut on the Grammy stage,” said Neil Portnow, president and chief executive of the Recording Academy.
“It’s extraordinary to many of us that the fact is, this will be the first time; he has never performed on the Grammy stage,” Portnow added.
Others who will perform at the gala are Britney Spears, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry.
