goldAug 6, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Reality star Michaele Salahi was the guest on an episode of the hit chat show on ABC “The View” which was aired earlier this week. The reality star who shot to fame after gatecrashing at a White House state dinner last fall, managed to seize many eyeballs with her “The View’ appearance for more reasons than one. First of all, it was her new Bravo reality show “Real Housewives of D.C.” which premiered last night but most importantly, Michaele Salahi is hitting headlines for her altercation with one of the presenter’s of the ABC talk show, Whoopi Goldberg.

In a statement that has been released by Michaele Salahi’s lawyer Lisa Bloom, it has been claimed that while her client was being interviewed by Joy Behar and Sherri Shepard, Whoopi Goldberg suddenly appeared from backstage, shook her arm and urged her to talk about the infamous White House gatecrashing incident. The lawyer further went on to say that this left Michaele Salahi rather startled as Whoopi Goldberg was not part of the segment while the overall experience of the reality star on “The View” was described as ‘degrading and demeaning.’ Responding to the claims, the ABC network has also issued a statement in which it has stated that Whoopi Goldberg only asked the reality star to go back to the original subject of conversation and the Salahi couple has wrongfully accused “The View” host of hitting Michaele Salahi.

Meanwhile, despite the fact that Whoopi Goldberg negates the allegations that she got physical with the reality star, “The View” host has agreed that she did use some ‘choicer words’ with Michaele Salahi.
