Mar 7, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The notorious murder case of Jan Roseboro was the topic on the latest episode of “48 Hours Mystery” in CBS. The story, although looking into the murder of the woman by her husband, Michael Roseboro, side by side takes a fresh look at the woman who was supposed to have played an instrumental role in the murder of Jan Roseboro. The show took a fresher and more insightful look into the mind and the struggles of the woman who possibly became an unwitting party to one of the most infamous murder cases in the history of the nation.
“48 Hours Mystery” featured a series of interviews conducted by the crew of the show in Reading, which was, according to the spokespersons of the show, a convenient location, considering that the defense attorney in the case is based in this very city. The show also included the trial in the case that had been held in the last year. It also featured the appearances of the defendant’s attorney, Allan L. Sodomsky, Ann Roseboro and Melissa, Michael Roseboro’s mother and sister respectively and Becky Donahue, one of the friends of Jan Roseboro among others.
48 Hours Mystery took a deep look into the mind of the woman who was, apparently responsible in a way for the murder, Angela Funk. From her statements, it slowly becomes clear that she was just a woman deeply in love with Michael Roseboro, unaware where it would all lead. Later on, she evidently begins to struggle to cope with the growing conviction that her lover might have killed his wife, and also a woman facing the normal tribulations when she comes to know that her lover might have been having other affairs too.
