Michael Landon’s son found dead in West Hollywood

Michael Landon Mark Landon, son of the late actor Michael Landon was found dead in his West Hollywood home on Monday, according to reports.

The body was discovered around noon at the 1300 block of his Sweetzer Avenue flat.

A spokeswoman from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, which is investigating the case, said that there was no evidence of foul play in the death. The cause of death has not been established yet, according to Sgt, David, investigating officer of LAPD.

Mark Frasier Landon was the son of Dodie Levy-Frasier, whom Michael Landon married in 1956 and divorced later in 1962. Michael then adopted Mark and his younger brother. He was the oldest among Landon’s nine children. Michael Landon had adopted both of

Dodie’s children and had 4 children with Marjorie Lynn Noe, whom he married in 1963 and divorced in 1982, and two children with

Cindy Clerico, whom he married in 1983. Mark Landon had a few acting credits too, and played bit roles in three movies. He was seen as a cab driver in “Us” a CBS Television movie written and directed by his father directed before he died. The film was made as a pilot intended to be another series for Michael Landon and aired finally a few months after the actor passed away.

Michael Landon, one of the stars of “Bonanza”, “Gunsmoke”, “Touched By An Angel” and “Little House on the Prairie” TV series, succumbed to pancreatic cancer in 1991 at the age of 54. He died two months after giving an exclusive interview to Life Magazine about his personal and private life, at Malibu, California.
