Michael Jackson’s Last Will Stirs Up Confusion

Michael JacksonThe news of the Jackson family arranging a funeral at the pop star’s Neverland ranch property was ruled out when the will regarding Michael Jackson’s property popped up. Its been said that he has put his multi-million dollar estate in trust for his three children and his mother besides giving the rest to a number of charitable organizations. Journalists and fans flocked in front of the pop sensation’s Neverland ranch after reports suggested that the singer’s body would be placed for public viewing. However the Jackson family ruled out the speculations which suggested that the funeral of Jackson could lead to Neverland turning out into a resting place for the singer.

The confusion over Michael’s funeral arrangement’s came into focus as pictures surrounding the star’s estate appeared to clear with the sudden emergence of a will that was filed in the court of Los Angeles somewhere in 2002. The twist came when it was revealed that the legendary Diana Ross has been named as a back up guardian to the singer’s children during the course of their mother Katherine’s death. The documents also revealed that the singers assets will be possessed by the Michael Jackson Family Trust. Three associates of Jackson, namely attorney John Branca, music execute John Mclain and accountant Barry Siegel were termed as the co executors of the will.

It was quite obvious that Jackson’s father Joe was not mentioned in the will. The strenuous relationship that the father and son had shared was apparent from the will.
