Michael Jackson’s Kids Accepted Grammy Award On Behalf Of Their Late Father

jacksonLos Angeles, Feb 1, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The legendary King of Pop, Michael Jackson had died last year yet his music is still reigning over the entertainment world. Though the singer was not physically present on the Grammy night, his music reverberated in every corners of the auditorium. He was honored with a posthumous Grammy, which his children came to collect. The young children of Michael Jackson, who were on stage to accept the award also paid tribute to their father.

To pay the due respect to the great music artist, Michael Jackson, the members of the Grammy Award decided to honor him with the Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award. His children Paris Jackson and Prince Michael came to receive the award on behalf of their late father. Prince Jackson said that they felt “proud to accept the award” for their father. He thanked God and their grandparents for caring for them and loving them. Prince Michael had also thanked fans of late Michael Jackson, who had always supported him. The young boy remembered his father and said that he wanted to spread love in the world and they would follow his path.

Paris Jackson, who was also present for the occasion said, “Daddy was supposed to be here.” She also said that the late King of Pop was also planning a performance this year. However that is not possible now. Michael Jackson, who had contributed some valuable works to the music industry was supposed to make a comeback tour last year. However, his sudden death had not given him the opportunity of a comeback and disheartened millions of his fans.
