As they weren’t shipped before his untimely death, so refunds where issued from Colombostile Inc. to Michael Jackson’s family. Michael Jackson’s family was very pleased with the refunds that were made by the furniture company.

Kenneth Bordewick, boss and designer at the Beverly Hills Luxury Interiors, was quoted as saying, “It was a very generous gesture and the Jackson’s were so appreciative they sent Colombostile a letter of thanks. The Jackson collection really is remarkable – one parlor set was inspired by furniture at Tsar Nicholas II’s Winter Palace for Michael Jackson’s English palace. That alone would cost $600,000 because it features hand embroidery with 24-karat gold thread, Swarovski crystals and fine silk.”
