London, March 10 (IANS) A US law firm has sued Michael Jackson’s estate claiming outstanding payment for legal services over a period of three years.
Venable LLP attorneys are demanding $471,103 in unpaid fees from the “Thriller” hitmaker’s estate, claiming the pop superstar received legal advice on a “broad spectrum of matters” from September 2006 to June 2009 and failed to settle his bill, reports contactmusic.com
Venable LLP is not the first law firm to demand dues from late singer’s estate. Bosses at Los Angeles-based company Mesereau & Yu, who defended him during his 2005 child molestation case, also say that they owed $341,452.
