Feb 3, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The death of pop legend Michael Jackson shocked the music lovers worldwide a few months back. The singer died under mysterious circumstances though it was said that he died of drug overdose. However, fingers were also raised at Dr. Conrad Murray who was hired to treat the ailing singer. As per the findings of the investigation, he was with the singer when he died. The doctor however denied the allegations and said that he did nothing that would have resulted in the demise of the singer. Now it seems that he would be in big trouble. He is likely to be slapped with charges of involuntary manslaughter. The lawyer of the doctor has said in his statement that his client is ready to face the law if he is charged with the crime.
Lawyer Edward Chernoff, who is legally representing Dr. Conrad Murray, has also said that his client will surrender to police if he is asked to do so. The late singing legend was on the verge of making a grand comeback to the world of music and he had hired the doctor as his personal physician. The late singer used to suffer from chronic insomnia and after the doctor gave him two sedatives along with propofol, a strong drug, he succumbed to his death. The doctor claimed that Michael Jackson had become dependent on the drug which he had administered.
It is yet to be known whether he administered the drug to the singer in the proper way. Meanwhile, Janet Jackson the sister of the deceased singer also accused the doctor and said in her opinion the doctor was responsible for her brother’s untimely demise.
