Los Angeles, Apr 2 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Michael Jackson’s physician Dr Conrad Murray is in big trouble. Already he is embroiled in the involuntary manslaughter charge in Michael Jackson’s death case. And now his medical license might also be suspended. His lawyers Ed Chernoff and Joseph Low said that he must be allowed to keep his license and practice his trade, because then only he would be able to pay for his defense in the MJ’s death case.
“If Dr. Murray is unable to practice medicine in Texas, and especially Nevada, he will likely be faced with the inability to adequately defend himself of the charges facing him in the Superior Court of California. The case with which he is charged will require intensive attorney work and fees. In light of the fact that much of his defense will be scientifically based and involves the death of an internationally famous decedent, expenses for his defense will be considerable,” his lawyers said.
Meanwhile Michael Jackson’s father Joe Jackson is also planning to take legal action against Dr Conrad Murray, whom he thinks is responsible for his son’s death. Joe Jackson’s lawyer Brian Oxman said that Dr Murray had given Michael Jackson too many prescription drugs that ultimately caused his death. He also added that the huge amount of drugs almost amounted to second-degree murder of the Late King of Pop. He said that he has written to Dr Murray that his client – Joe Jackson is thinking about filing a wrongful death lawsuit against him in 3 months time.
