Michael Jackson’s doctor Arnie Klein files for bankruptcy
January 26th, 2011 - 8:25 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, Jan 26 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Michael Jackson’s former dermatologist and long time friend, Arnie Klein has filed for bankruptcy protection. Dr. Arnold Klein is believed to owe between $1 million and $10 million.
Klein had a long term association with the late King Of Pop. The doctor is rumored to be the father of at least one of Michael Jackson’s children.
Klein was regarded as one of the most successful doctors at Beverly Hills. He made several millions taking care of top celebrities. However it seems his finances have taken a dip recently because he owes money to a lot of people.
He owes more than a quarter of a million in medical supplies that he took from his suppliers. The top doctor also owes credit card company, American Express more than $80,000 and the IRS $127,000.
Dr. Klein’s tall list of debtors includes the City National Bank, to which the doctor owes almost $2.6 million in mortgage payments. He also owes his office landlord, $20,000 in overdue rent and one of his lawyers $50,000. His partner in the office, Dr. David Rish is also owed $115,000.
Dr. Klein filed for the Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on last Thursday.
