Aug 29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It has been more than a year that the king of pop Michael Jackson passed away but the fans of the singer love him all the same. Had he been alive today he would have steeped into his 52nd birthday. The legendary singer is no more but the fans are celebrating his birthday in various corners of the world and paying their respect to him in numerous ways. The avid fans of the singer assembled outside the Gary home of the singer on Saturday eve top pay their respects. There were a number of people who dressed up like the late legendary singer and regional entertainers were also present. His family members were also present and they cut a birthday cake to commemorate the occasion.

Michael Bearden has composed a song named One Last Goodbye to pay homage to the stalwart singer on his birthday. One can also download this song on iTunes. He is a noted music director and used to share a great rapport with the late singer. Apart from this, the fans of the singer are going to attend a birthday party in his honor that will take place at the Nethermead Meadow of Prospect Park. This annual party will be hosted by Spike Lee as it has been reported.

Even a year after his death the popularity of the albums of the singer has not diminished at all and they sell at par with new albums of the contemporary music artists. Last year the annual party proved to be a huge success. A number of fans are likely to get emotional at the party.
