London, June 24 (IANS) The second anniversary of Pop legend Michael Jackson’s death will be marked with a customised motorcycle that will drive through Forrest Lawn Memorial Park where his body was cremated.
Created by family friend Marcell ‘Porkchop’ Miller, the motorcycle will display the images of the singer at Forrest Lawn Memorial Park Saturday. Jackson died two years ago at age 50.
The King of Pop’s hometown in Gary, Indiana, where he lived with his family until 1969 is also planning a tribute.
“The world can expect a ‘Tribute to Michael’ every year in June in Gary, Indiana. The world is invited,” femalefirst.co.uk quoted Mayor Rudy Clay as saying.
The free-admission tribute will take place at the ‘Thriller’ hitmaker’s childhood home from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., culminating with a candlelit vigil.
