Michael Jackson suing company trying to auction his belongings
March 5th, 2009 - 1:45 pm ICT by IANSLondon, March 5 (IANS) Pop star Michael Jackson is suing the company that is trying to auction off things owned by him.
Some of the items on sale include the hands from the movie “Edward Scissorhands”, rhinestone gloves and socks, a robe and the gates from his ranch, reports TMZ.com.
The lawsuit was filed recently and Jackson’s counsel claims that Julien’s Auction House is “not legally entitled to retain possession Michael Jackson’s personal property”.
They also claim that the auction house has refused to return the items though they were repeatedly asked. The auction is to take place April 22 in Beverly Hills, California.
