Michael Jackson Memorial Will Be Held At Staples Center

All the die-hard fans of Michael Jackson, who were dying to get a last glimpse of the superstar, can heave a sigh of relief now. Organizers have said that the Michael Jackson Memorial will be held at 10 a.m on the 7th of July at Staples Center in Los Angeles.
The event could be attended by the fans after getting themselves registered at www.StaplesCenter.com by Saturday, July 4th, by 6 p.m through a random drawing process. 8750 names will be drawn, to give away 2 free tickets to the fans to permit presence at the venue. The registration procedure began on the Friday morning.
Millions of fans of the King of Pop, had lined up to purchase tickets to the Tuesday’s funeral. The number of tickets that is on for sale amounts to 17,500. Organizers are requesting the frenzied fans not resort to any sort of chaos if not able to purchase the tickets to the memorial service; they can stay at home and watch the event unfold on the television. The other venue where fans can line up and be a part of the live event is the Nokia Theater at Los Angeles Live, which is across the street.
The concert promoters behind Jackson’s scheduled “This Is It Tour” have announced that they will be distributing around 11,000 tickets to the service, absolutely free of charge. The free tickets to both the venues will be chosen by the process of random drawing.
Those fans who win, will be notified of it by Sunday and will also receive information on how to collect the ticket.
