Los Angeles, June 26 (DPA) Pop star Michael Jackson, 50, was in a coma Thursday after collapsing at his home in Los Angeles, CNN reported.
The King of Pop was found unconscious in his rented mansion and was rushed to the UCLA Medical Centre.
An increasingly frail Jackson had been preparing for a sold-out concert run in London.
Captain Steve Ruda of the Los Angeles Fire Department told CNN that Jackson was rushed to the UCLA Medical Centre from his rented mansion Thursday afternoon.
Local TV stations said he had suffered a cardiac arrest, but Ruda would not comment on his condition except to say that he was given “extreme care” and rushed to hospital.
