Michael Jackson- Highest Earning Celebrity Of 2010

June 11, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Recently a white glove, worn by the late pop singer Michael Jackson, was sold at an auction in Melbourne, Australia, for $57600. The price is twice the amount that the auctioneers expected. The bejeweled glove was a trademark of Michael Jackson.
It was the first glove to be sold since Michael died.. Jackson had worn this glove at Sydney in 1996, on the occasion of his wedding with Debbie Rowe.
Experts had predicted that Jackson would become the highest earning celebrity of 2010. They expect him to bring in an estimated $240 million in revenue. The survey that is led by the licensing and merchandising experts across Europe reveals that Jackson’s position is ahead of the soccer player Christiano Ronaldo, Lady Gaga and Harry Potter actors Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe. The list also features the super couple David and Victoria Beckham, racing driver Lewis Hamilton, “Twilight’ star Robert Pattinson, Elvis Presley and Britney Spears.
The King of Pop had shot back into the charts after his sudden death in June and the authorities looking after his estate are preparing to launch an official range of merchandise.
The producers of Jackson’s scheduled comeback concert in London are ready to release a movie that features the rehearsal footage for his “This is it” concert. It has also been reported that a live album and DVD are ready to be launched.
