michael-jackson_1It seems that controversies and speculations won’t leave the legendary pop icon, Michael Jackson even after his death. The recent “ghost tape” controversy, which shows a ’shadowy’ figure haunting around the late super star’s Neverland ranch has created ripples among the fans as well as the media.

The tape, which has been posted on you tube has created a lot of buzz on the net, thus drawing a huge viewership . The recent up date dealing with the footage is probably the weirdest of all the controversies revolving around Michael Jackson’s death.

The video was captured on tape, when a CNN crew toured Michael’s Neverland ranch during an interview session between Larry King and Jermaine Jackson. Neither the presenter nor the cameraman spotted the spooky shadow while they were filming. It was when the video was posted on you tube, fans of the late pop sensation, spotted the figure. “As soon as the video was spotted, rumors spread like wild fie,” reported The Sun newspaper. Internet chat rooms and forums have since been buzzing with fans, debating over the legitimacy of the footage and whether the shadow depicts their idol, Michael Jackson or not. “Yes, that is MJ! Even the hair style silhouette everything….,” exclaimed one viewer while commenting on the video. Another viewer commented, “This is so weird. I have played it over five times now and I have to admit that the video does resemble MJ. I can’t believe that I am saying that actually.”

The seasoned skeptics believe that the shadow has been probably of that of a crew member, which was caught on camera during the shoot. Hoax or not, the video has surely captured the eyes of the millions of MJ fans, who still believe that the pop icon will return with a “thriller’.
