Michael J. Fox All Set To Make Guest Appearance In “The Good Wife”

Aug 29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) “The Family Ties” and “Spin City” actor Michael J. Fox is all set to return to television and make a guest appearance in US drama “The Good Wife”. The channel authorities reportedly said that Michael J. Fox will play a “shrewd” and “cynical” lawyer who uses his condition as a bargaining tool in the series. The media reported that the three-time Emmy winner has been battling Parkinson’s disease for years. The veteran actor went public with his condition in 1998 after he was diagnosed in 1991.
Reportedly, Michael J. Fox will appear as Simon Canning in the show, who is ready to do anything in the court including the symptoms of his neurological condition to create sympathy for his client, to win the case. “The Good Wife” is an American legal drama on CBS and Robert King and Michelle King, the show’s executive producers and creators said that they are absolutely “thrilled” as the Canadian American actor has agreed to play the role.
The executive producers and creators of “The Good Wife” also added that Michael J. Fox’s intelligence as an actor, combined with his “incredible” timing will give life to his character of the smart, cynical lawyer in the show. After his diagnosis with Parkinson’s disease Michael J. Fox has remained largely off the screen as he was spending his time raising money for people who have the disease. “The Good Wife” is a US legal drama which stars Julianna Margulies as Alicia Florrick who is forced to return to work when her politician husband is jailed for corruption.
