Sep 15, (THAINDIAN NEWS) In what was one of the most appreciated performances of the season, Michael Grimm took the stage to sing a cover of the classic ‘When A Man Loves A Woman’. It was the reaction from the judges and the audience that said it all and made Michael Grimm one of the forerunners of the competition. After the performance Michael Grimm received a standing ovation and Sharon Osbourne goes on to say that her husband, legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne, has bet $100 that he would win the competition.

Apart from Sharon Osbourne, the rest of the judges were equally generous with their praises on Michael Grimm after his performance of ‘When A Man Loves A Woman’. Howie Mandel called it the best performance on the show and said that his prediction is that he will with ‘America’s Got Talent’. Piers Morgan, who is known for his analytical and mostly restrained compliments said that Michael Grimm would be a great winner and he would represent America well.

Almost every act has now raised it bar in terms of performance on ‘America’s Got Talent’. Of the other three left in the competition it was the mirror based performance by Fighting Gravity that also received a standing ovation from the audience. One of the highlights of the show was Piers Morgan buzzing during the act of Prince Poppycock. Later, however, the rest of the judges and the audience gave him a standing ovation. Jackie Evancho sang ‘Ave Maria’ and Howie Mandel called the performance ‘indescribable’ and said that her voice was close to ‘near death experience’ in positive way.
